Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab has made a major decision in the state related to the education sector. The private schools cannot increase the fee in this academic session. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said that a detailed order will be announced soon.
“Private schools can not increase the fee by a single penny in the upcoming academic session. Soon, the detailed decision will be announced after discussing with the parents and also the school authorities,” he said.
Other than that, the private schools can not suggest a particular shop to buy school dresses and books. Now, the parents would be able to decide, from where do they want to buy the school uniforms and books.
Bhagwant Mann cleared that the schools will have to give the name of all the shops nearby and the parents will decide on their own, from where do they want to purchase books and school uniforms.
“A detailed policy related to these two announcements would be issued soon in the state,” CM Bhagwant Mann said.
