A bomb blast occurred inside the Ludhiana district courts on Thursday. As of now, two people have been confirmed dead. The police forces have reached the spot.
The explosion took place in the second storey of the court complex at around 12:30 pm, when the court was functioning.
District Administrative Complex Ludhiana is completely evacuated on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner.
All government offices anywhere in Ludhiana would be thoroughly checked.
It has been reported that the blast happened in the washroom at the second storey of the court complex. A lot of infrastructural loss has been witnessed. The walls and the glass panes of the court complex have been shattered.
It is to be noted that the court was functioning when the explosion took place. A team of National Investigation Agency has left Chandigarh and is expected to reach the spot shortly.
