All the coronavirus restrictions have been lifted up in Punjab with immediate effect. The orders were passed by the Principal Secretary to the Government of Punjab.
The state Home Affairs has directed the police and the civil administration to lift all the coronavirus restrictions in the state.
In the orders, it was written, “All the COVID-19 restrictions are removed with immediate effect. However, the residents of the State are advised to follow COVID appropriate behavioural norms.”
There is no limit on the gatherings at weddings and other ceremonies. Other than that, cinema halls, spas, gyms, restaurants are allowed to open and operate with 100 percent capacity.
