One dies of virus in Ludhiana, 132 cases in last four days

The number of coronavirus cases in Ludhiana is increasing every day. In the last four days, as many as 132 new coronavirus cases have been reported.
On Sunday, January 2, Ludhiana witnessed 44 new coronavirus cases. 40 reported today belonged to Ludhiana and 4 belonged to other districts and states. Also, one death due to coronavirus has also been reported today in Ludhiana. The deceased was a 52-year-old resident of Lohara. He was admitted to DMCH.
An exponential spike in coronavirus cases has been witnessed in just four days. Amid the new year celebrations in Ludhiana, the coronavirus cases are increasing.
Currently, the number of active cases in Ludhiana is 144. Today, 2,582 samples have been taken for coronavirus testing. Out of 144 active cases, 141 have been home isolated and 3 are admitted in different private hospitals.
Of the 44 who tested positive in Ludhiana today, 5 had come in contact with coronavirus patients, 3 are health care workers and 2 are international travellers.
