Newly elected Punjab Congress Chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring visited Ludhiana today to meet ex-MLAs Surinder Dawar, Sanjeev Talwar and Bharat Bhushan Ashu.
The meeting was conducted on Tuesday, April 19. Raja Warring said that they discussed the future working of the Congress party. Raja Warring also spoke on the free electricity that the AAP government in Punjab has provided.
He said that there should not have been any difference on the basis of caste. He gave the example of two AAP MLAs Kulwant Singh from Mohali and Narinder Kaur Bharaj from Sangrur, one from the reserved category and the other from the General category.
Kulwant Singh is from the reserved category and has a property of over Rs. 250 crore. On the other hand, Narinder Kaur Bharaj is from the General category and has a property of around Rs. 24,000.
