Naveen Shekharappa’s family will donate his body for medical research

The dead body of the Indian student Naveen Shekharappa will reach Bengaluru on Monday, Karnataka Chief Minister reportedly said. He died in bomb shelling in Ukraine’s Kharkiv city.

His family has reportedly decided that his last remains would be donated for medical research. Naveen’s father Shankarappa reportedly said that Naveen wanted to pursue his career in the field of medicine. He was 21-year-old medical student studying in Ukraine.

Further, he said that we want his body to be used for the studies of other medical students.

Karnataka Chief Minister Bsavaraj Bommai reportedly said that Naveen’s body will reach Bengaluru from the war-hit Ukraine, at around 3 pm on Monday. According to the reports, Naveen was in a bunker in Kharkiv.

He had gone outside in the morning to exchange currency and to have some food. That is when he was killed in shelling by the Russian troops.
