Masked man claiming to be Indian Sikh, threatens to kill Queen Elizabeth II

A video of a masked man has gone viral on the internet media where he threatens to assassinate Queen Elizabeth II. In the video, he claims to be an Indian Sikh and is seen wearing a black hoodie, holding a crossbow.

According to the reports by The Sun, the 19-year-old man says that his name is Jaswant Singh Chail.

The video was reportedly posted on Snapchat, in which the accused is seen saying, “I’m sorry. I’m sorry for what I’ve done and what I will do. I will attempt to assassinate Elizabeth, Queen of the Royal family.”

Further in the video, the man can be heard saying, “This is revenge for those who died in 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. This is also revenge for those who have been killed, humiliated, and discriminated on because of their race.”

On December 25, the accused was held by the police at Windsor Castle. He has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act. The reports also suggest that the man was just 500 meters away from the queen’s private apartments, inside the castle grounds.”
