After almost a month of staying in jail, Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been released today. He left the Arthur road jail in Mumbai around 11 am.
On Thursday, the Bombay High Court granted bail to 23-year-old Aryan Khan but he had to stay in the jail for two nights as his release papers missed the 5:30 pm deadline. The conditions for the bail included a personal bond of Rs. 1 lakh and one surety of the like amount. It is to be noted that Bollywood actor and a good friend of Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla stood as surety for Aryan.
The fans and the media personnel had gathered outside the Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai since morning as they received news of Aryan Khan getting released.
Outside Mannat also, the fans had gathered since morning with posters of “Welcome Home Aryan”.
On October 2, Narcotics Control Bureau had taken Aryan Khan into custody. Aryan was found on a cruise ship that was going to Goa from Mumbai. The actor’s son was arrested under sections 8 (c), 20 (b), 27, 28, 29 and 35 under the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs Psychotropic Substances) Act.
