Woman conspires husband’s murder with son in Ludhiana

The Ludhiana police solved the murder case of a person residing in the Hargobind Nagar area of the city. The deceased’s wife and son have been arrested for allegedly killing Prem Kumar, a resident of the Hargobind Nagar area in Ludhiana.

The accused have alleged that the deceased Prem Kumar was a regular drinker and he often used to beat them while being intoxicated.

The couple fought on the night of March 25. The incident reportedly happened the same night and Prem Kumar was allegedly killed. To hide the matter, the dead body was also thrown away. During the investigation, the police arrested Prem Kumar’s wife and son and registered a criminal case.

On March 25, Prem Kumar’s dead body was found near the gate. His wife told the police that Prem was a regular drunkard and he lost his control and fell near the gate. Due to this, he died.

The dead body was sent for post-mortem and it was found that he was being attacked with a sharp object on his chest.

Earlier in this case, the action was taken under section 174 of the IPC at the behest of the family. When the police saw the CCTV cameras installed nearby on the spot, they came to know that someone had pushed Prem Kumar out of the house.

When the police questioned the mother-son duo and showed them the video evidence, they confronted everything. Police have registered a criminal case against Prem Kumar’s wife Geeta Rani and son Yogesh Kumar.
