NIA sends notice to Congress leader Gursimran Mand

Ludhiana, April 14

Ludhiana Congress leader Gursimran Singh Mand has received a notice from the National Investigation Agency. He has been asked to visit the NIA’s Chandigarh branch on April 18.

In a case related to the death of a priest living in Phillaur, the NIA has called Gursimran Mand to the office. The matter is of January 31, 2021. In September 2021, NIA filed an FIR in the same case in which Hardeep Singh Nijjar, Amandeep Singh Moga, Kamaljit Sharma Moga, Ram Singh Ferozepur, Gagandeep Singh were named.

Gursimran Mand has said that he will fully co-operate with the National Investigation Agency and will reach their office. Gursimran Mand has been into controversy earlier as well. He once cleaned Rajiv Gandhi’s statue with his turban because of which the Sikh organizations and leaders were very unhappy with him.
