Ludhiana DC issues new covid guidelines: No pre-board exams of 10th, 12th students

In view of the coronavirus situation in Ludhiana, the district magistrate has issued new coronavirus guidelines. These new guidelines will remain in force till February 8.

There will be no offline pre-board exams of 10th and 12th students in Ludhiana now. The Ludhiana Sahodaya School Complex (LSSC), formed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), had written a letter to Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Varinder Sharma, seeking permission to conduct the pre-board exams of board classes in offline mode. However, the district administration has refused to fulfil their demand.

The administration has said that this demand is contrary to the Covid-19 guidelines.

Night curfew will remain in force from 10 pm to 5 am.

Not more than 500 people indoors, and 1000 people outdoors, are allowed to gather.

Online classes will continue in schools, colleges and other educational institutes. Only medical and nursing institutes will be allowed to function fully.

Gyms, spas, Cinema halls, bars, zoos, museums, are allowed to function at 50% capacity.

AC buses will function at 50% capacity.
